How it works

Five minutes.
A smarter head.

Not another endless feed, but a deliberately small ritual. This is what a day with Factucate looks like.
Step 1

Your daily stack

Every morning a fresh, finite stack of facts is waiting. You swipe through, every card one surprising thing, told in five seconds.
The key part: the stack has an end. Once you are through, that is it. No pull, no “just one more”, no lost evening. New facts arrive tomorrow.

An octopus has three hearts. One stops the moment it starts swimming.

That is why it prefers to crawl.

Why an octopus needs 3 hearts

Two are gill hearts: they push blood through the gills, where it loads up on oxygen. The big main heart then sends it around the body.

While swimming, the octopus squeezes water out of its mantle. The pressure pinches the veins to the main heart, no blood arrives, so it pauses.

Step 2

As deep as you want

Curious? One tap on “Learn more” and you get the whole story: the setup, the why in clear steps, and the context.
Every deep dive ends with the real source, from public agencies, museums or universities. You do not just read that something is true, you understand why.
Step 3

Keep it, don't lose it

This is where “heard of it” becomes a real “I know this”. On exactly the right days, a fact comes back as a small question.
First you try to remember, then you flip the card. That short moment of active recall is the part that truly anchors knowledge. The intervals grow as you get more confident.
